Maria Arnal, CEO of Google Mexico

Maria Teresa Arnal is an industrial engineer graduated from UCAB. She worked in agencies such as Clarus and Walter J Thompson, in 2016 she is appointed Director General of Twitter for the Spanish-speaking markets, and by 2017 she became the first woman to be appointed Director General of Google Mexico.

It was recognized with the Woman of the Decade Award in Innovation and Leadership 2019 awarded by Women Economic Forum. In addition, it was also Women to Watch México 2015 and is considered one of the 10 personalities that have contributed the most in the digital advertising and interactive marketing industry. It was named one of the 50 most influential people in technology in Latin America by HITE. She was also among the “top CEOs of Mexico” and “top 20 women executives in Mexico” by the magazine Mujer Ejecutiva in December 2004 and 2005. The magazine Expansión named her among the “20 most influential women in business in Mexico” in February 2003 and as one of the “50 most powerful women in Mexico” in November 2006.
